The 765 is a 6 berth, 6 belt with rear U shape lounge and centre dinette; it offers space and multiple seating and sleeping arrangements. Based on the Peugeot Boxer Al-Ko chassis, with the 2200cc Euro 6 diesel engine and manual 6 speed gearbox this 765 is a breeze to drive. The cabin benefits from air conditioning, cruise control, rear camera and Bluetooth. The 765 is 7.45m weighs in at 3850kg so will need a C1 licence to drive. This model has two separate lounging areas – the U-shaped rear lounge and the dinette, just rear of the cab seats. Thanks to the extra-wide habitation body, there’s lots of room in both lounges. The rear lounge is especially spacious and it’s a perfect area in which all six occupants can eat and socialise at the same time in complete comfort around the freestanding table. The kitchen is spacious and fully equipped with full oven/grill, gas hobs, 3 way fridge, sink and microwave. The well appointed central washroom doesn’t take up too much space as the washroom tapers towards the rear of the vehicle, so that the central corridor widens slightly as it approaches the rear lounge. The wider, front-most portion of the washroom is dedicated to the Thetford toilet, while the narrower rear section houses a separate shower cubicle which is includes the washbasin which a clever space-saving solution. The superb electric drop-down bed is positioned longitudinally and not transverse across the width of the habitation space, taking up only half of the vehicle’s width, thanks to the Bailey 765 wide habitation body a corridor is retained through the motorhome, even when the bed is lowered. The bed is lowered electrically, controlled by a dedicated switch near the control panel, there’s a safety cut-off in the form of a key, to ensure that the bed never lowers by accident. It’s a spacious and very comfortable double bed accessible via a ladder, since it lowers about halfway down the height of the interior in order to retain sufficient headroom for the dinette bed underneath it, which is easy to make up and a good sized double bed.
